Ball Bearing issue

I was changing the oil and trans fluid on my 06 K-9 for the first time, and all of a sudden I heard ball bearings that fell out of the bike somewhere, has anyone experience this or may know where the bearings came from?:loony:

I will post a photo of the bearings tomorrw, just a thought, maybe the bearings came off my jack. I have a Craftsman Jack the yellow one...are there bearings in the jack?

Did they land in the oil drain pan. If you heard them while draining the tranny they could have fallen out of there...

No the bearing didn't land in the oil pan...I don't know

the wheels on the craftsman jack may have bearings...check there...wouldnt think they came off bike...

Trans.....hmmm maybe the ball and ramp came apart??? Bearings on the trap door?? How many did you find?

Good News, Today I brought the bearings into a bike shop and spoke with the owner who stated that the ball bearings were too small for a motorcycle and most likely it came from the jack. He showed me jacks that he had in his shop with ball bearings in them, I have to check my jack to see. What a relief
