Baker or Jimms

Question? I had always thought that my 03 Chopper has a Baker Six speed transmission as the chrome cover on the right side says, Baker Six Speed Overdrive. But tonight I took the starter out, revealing the top of the trans and it says Jimms! If anyone knows the deal please educate me, thanks, Rich!:up:

My 03 is the same .... My understanding is Big Dog bought kits and assembled the transmissions in there factory ... our trannys are Baker gear set, Jims case and maybe the trap door is Big Dog....I like Jims products .... :2thumbs:

Yep -- same thing on my '04. Only Jim's part is the case - same parts as a Baker when you need them or rebuild.
