Baker 6 speed gear ration

I have a 2003 Big Dog Boxer and I am wondering what gear ratios are used in this model. I am having to replace the transmission.

Has a 2.94 first gear ration....5 gear become a 1:1 ratio....6 gear which is the over drive gear is a .86:1.....if you are replacing the whole transmission i would use a ultima transmission....ultima is 800.00 veruses a baker that is 3500.00....i have installed a few ultima transmissions and i also have one on one of my bikes....great transmission in my opinion and shifts way smoother than a baker also...your clutch basket and everything will hook up to the ultima....only thing you will have to do is put ur neutral switch out of your baker into the ultima which super easy

Easternperformance has them in stock i do believe....part number is 201-59 for the one i have....they make 3 different finishes price will vary cause of that

Model ultima should i buy?

Well for your left side drive they only make 3 different ones and all that consist of is the case finish.....polished, black or natural finish....i went with the natural cases which is part number 201-59
