Was thinking of putting a 7x7 bag on downtube breastbone just above voltage regulator anyone think i would have a problem with overheating or should there be enough air moving around bike and bag to not worry about it. Thanks

You have to think about how you attach it so it won't wear on your down tube paint.

Good question really. I dare say I am slightly above average when it comes to aerodynamics and I for one would not put anything to block the cooling flow on a high performance engine like ours, during the summer months. The little tool roll will not cause any harm but a bigger bag will cause flow elimination to your cylinders. Your choice, just my $0,02 take on it.

I have a black frame so this worked. I wrapped a couple layers of black electrical tape on the frame where my bag attaches.

I attached the tool bag with two black tie wraps on each down tube. The bag is solid as a rock on my bike.
