TRUE COLORS COLLISION
I put them into my bike a few years ago, seem to fade out the 'pinging' a little bit but other than that I didnt notice much difference, relatively the same sound.....

How do like the sound?

Put in the QQ baffles in the V&H 2-2. The sound is a little deeper and not as tinny as the stock baffles.

Deeper tone then the stock pipes. Sound more like a 2 into 1. I'll know more when the weather gets better. Definitely a better sound than stock.

Just cut my V&H BR baffles down last night to about 5" Haven't ran the bike yet due to rainy ass weather. The only concern I have is not having the front end flange on the baffle, might move around a bit without that flange on the baffle.

When I first installed the BCTQQ's I had issues with them coming lose. Then I cut about 1.5 - 2 inches off the end of the stock baffles drilled a hole large enough that the mounting screw would fit through it. Slid the the cut piece over the end of the BCT baffle, placed the baffles in the pipes and then put the screw through it with red loctite. I've not had them come loose since.

Just took my bike out for the first time after cutting the baffles. Noticed the slight hesitation I had between the intermediate and main jet is gone. Still not real happy with the sound, seems to be only slightly louder and no noticeable loss in torque. I'm going to remove the baffles all together just for shit's and see what happens to the torque, probably lose a bit.

Threw these in last weekend, haven't had a chance to really hear or see them perform (been raining = No riding )

Smartpartz Hard Kore Quiet Baffles for Vance & Hines Big Radius
I looked at those before I bought the BCT baffles. Keep us updated on the sound, loudness and performance.

When I oriinally installed the BCT's I was trying to quiet the pipes down slightly and improve the sound. IMHO the 2-2 V&H with the stock baffles sound like crap, a bit on the loud side and worse without baffles.

I bought a set of the Smartpartz baffles and put them in my 2 into 2 pipes. They are a lot quieter but I felt that they caused too much back pressure. The instructions say you will have to rejet with them. I ran them for a day and took them out. I put in the welded washers and a K&N element and I am going through hell trying to get the jetting right.
