ok, managed to take the tank off today to get to that upper motor mount... it wasn't loose at all... gave it a slight microturn to tighten, but it only budged a tittle bit... (little bit) tittle just sounds like a good word to say...
vibrations are there... it seems like it could be my front end suspension assembly... the vibrations are mostly off the handlebars in a jumpy jump manner... almost impossible to hold the bars at higher speeds, (higher speeds meaning 60)... is there a way to check the compression...
also, how balanced are your big dogs? when i'm riding and take my hands off the bars on straight uncrowned road, the bike leans to the left like a mother****... my bikes in the past have all been very well balanced and i could do a no hander for blocks.... this is my first chopper, are they just not made for that luxury?
i was thinking that might have something to do with an unbalanced tire or poor alignment, perhaps would lead to vibrations as well?
where to go to check this? im in jersey, so any of you monmouth county locals wanna ride my bike and give your opinion, lemme know...
:bang:
