Bad Rim

I have a problem with my front tire bouncing at 45mph.I put a new tire on but it didn't help.I'm afraid it might be my rim. Is it possible to repair an aluminum Rim. Any suggestons? It is a 2004 Ridgeback anniversery model.

Ive had that problem before on other style bikes . The wheel is probaly the problem.
