bad ignition coil

Any indy shop would probably have it at a better price. Your 05 coil is a Crane unit.

Are you sure it is bad? I can send you one if you need. I have a couple in my garage.

Well it is being checked out. Im being told by the custom bike builder that i took it to that big dogs are famous for having faulty thunderheart boxes. He is gonna check it out, maybe try and remove it all together.

Well the thunderheart is a long way from the coil!

Also, everyone blames the EHC first when usually it's just a battery issue or other simple issue. BDM states that 85% of EHC's returned to them test good. You need to take your bike to someone that understands the BD bikes before you fork over big bucks to get it fixed.

Yeah thats true. I have already forked out too much dough now. I do know when it shuts down, the ingnition light on the EHC box is lit up.
