Bought this bike 6 months ago have put 100 miles on it had it out and when you roll into the throttle about a 1/3 of the way it hesitates and breaks up real bad been thru carb with a kit (was all gummed up when I got it) done a number of things to it had bad coil bad stator numerous things... I've checked intake for leaks changed plugs out posting picture of old ones just looking for direction now any help would be appreciated

I'm no expert, but the plug on the left looks like it's running hot. The right one rich. Did you try and spray WD40 or whatever around the intake while running? Any difference in the RPM?

I sprayed with carb cleaner and brake clean no rpm difference at all think I might need to do compression test rpms never smooth out till about 2500 or so at first I just thought maybe big cam but with this hesitation and the rpm smoothness im not sure

Who is the cleaner plug, from front or rear? Yes, time to stop chasing your tail and check compression first. Go with a new set of plugs. Probably the back one is fouling.

Now for the yes or no's:
1. Bike starts right up and idles right off.
a. Yes means I cleaned it so well, I can rev it from idle and revs up to redline.
b. No means it makes the same hesitation trying to get to redline.
c. Could you repeat the question.

2. I kind of crank it a lot before it fires.
a. Yes, it does take awhile to start it.
b. No, See number 1.
c. Carb is still dirty at one of 3 circuits.

3. These are the same plugs that came with the bike.
a. Yes. I changed everything else but these.
b. No. These have 100 miles on them.
c. Why I don't believe that for a second.

4. The clean plug is from the front.
a. Yes. Front plug. It's dry so no oil problem.
b. No. It's the rear plug.
c. Yes, I'm going to change plugs after the compression test.

5. Will you buy 3 plugs?
a. Yes. I want to eliminate a fuel or ignition problem.
b. No. I'll just swap plugs and keep riding it.
c. So you'll burn the carbon off the hez plug by cleaning it and in a few 30 or so miles I hammer it and see if the hez burned the carbon off the nose or on my way for a set of plugs on the cleaning ride.
d. Did you say one higher heat range, 'we have a problem Huston'; carbon fouling that one cylinder?

Only your compression knows for sure.

What Sven said was
eliminate ignition problems, check your compression ,make sure all three circuits are clean ( idle, intermediate, and main) and FLOWING in the carb. Dont forget the enrichener circuit

I vote for a internal passage in carb is plugged/restricted.
carb kit does not clean the passages. sometimes takes a small wire and carb spray needle .
hope this helps

Because your bike smooths out over 2500 I would look to the main jet being your problem. Because you have had the problem since you got the bike it may be jetted incorrectly or still clogged up. This procedure will help you figure it out.

Ok guys I finally figured it out compression was good pulled bowl off and found main jet plugged my tank when I got this was very rusty cleaned flushed used 3 part kit to coat it but evidently still managed to get some to my carburetor even with a good filter.. thank you all very much for your input if it starts messing up again I know right were to go... thank you!!
