Decided to go have a little fun last night, so we jumped on the K-9 and headed to Strokers.
Before we got there, the damn clutch cable broke.
Now it's at Strokers without us.
Hope to get it back by the weekend.
(Can any one at Strokers hear me????? )

I replaced mine with a heavier Barnett cable. It's been a couple years. I don't remember the part number. The new cable didn't have the inner liner that lets it slide as easy, but I don't care. I'd rather have a thicker cable that I can trust.

I don't think the stock cable is strong enough. It looked pretty wimpy.

I am lucky I broke down going to the Doctor's  and not 200 miles away like you Hollywoodjohnny !
And yes, I do need to put some pictures up of me and the K-9.
Excuse my ignorance, but get a spare? Cable or Big Dog? :)

K-9, I think you should get in our calender!!! I carry a spare clutch cable every where I go and it came in handy this year when mine let go in Bakersfield, CA so I changed it out and went on my merry way.
Get your original back and send it to Barnett and they will fix if free for you and you can keep it as a spare.
Sorry I missed you in Dallas.

Been there, dun that. SUCKS!!! :bang: I know! First time was at 2 in the am in the middle of deserted Illinois cornfield. Had to push bike into darkened church parkin lot, call a buddy, grab a new cable, then come back next morning and install. Talk about one Nervous Nellie, leavin the bike stranded like that!!!!
