Bad Day... Lady backed over my chopper

Went to Oreilys to buy a thermostat thought hey think I'll ride my bike.

I walked in the store turn back towards the front door and see this dumbass backing into my mastiff.

I about shit my pants I ran outside yelling hey mother fu#%*r you better stop!"

When the driver gets out it's a 5'2" lady. So I politely ask her "what the fu#k are thinking there are no other cars in the parking lot!!!!"

So then she gets mad at me and starts yelling why are you so mad it not like I did it on purpose you jerk!!

So at that point I use some more colorful language and as her if she is I fact mentally challenged? I said how the hell do you back a truck up with a rear camera and not see a 7' chopper parked in your path!!!

I can only assume she was on the phone either texting or posting a duck lips selfie on Facebook.

Seriously how do you not see behind you when you have an f'ing back up camera right in the middle of the dash!!!

It bent and gouged my back fender, tore up my tag bracket blew out the front turn signal tore us the mirror and mount road rashes the clutch lever tore the piss out of the front foot peg and shift lever and munched my headlight.

As a bonus the Trans shifted funny on the way home and there is oil leaking from under the bike now.

Oh gouged my back tire and rashed up the primary.

I'm sofa king mad!!!!

Hate to say it but they might say it cost to much to fix, and total it. Fight them on replacement cost instead of book valve. I had to do that once a long time ago. The insurance wanted to paid book valve and I said go out and fine one at that price.

They have same ins and agent that I have. I did get a police report and their info. Plus I called and reported it to our ins company.

We use one of the best painters in the country here where I live. I've already been in contact with him.

I'm sure the Alu and chrome parts will have to be refurbished. Have good friends that do both.

Just pissed of that it got hit!! Replacement parts as we know are expensive and hard to come by.
I'll make those mother trucker buy me new +2 controls if the ones I have can't be repaired.

Sorry to hear this , but hang in there. get very detailed estimates, make sure the trans is mentioned in them too.

Wow, hate to hear that, but at least it's the end of the riding season, not May. You got all winter to make it right again.

Damn!!! Always get a police report and ALWAYS review the police report before anyone leaves! Remember unless there is video the officer has nothing but 2 screaming people to go by! That's why I now run dash cam's on All my vehicles, even CeCe's ! Wish I could put one on the bikes

If you/they have good insurance , they will do you right. My insurance took care of me when the rear fender cracked actually they went above and beyond helping my get new parts for the big bear

This is a very sad story. We love our bikes, take care of them ...... Due to such stupid, inconsiderate bastards, like this woman, we have to spoil the nerves and spend money.
