Backfire and Loss of Throtle

wellfinally got my bike back from dealer after waiting for almos 6 weeks on the Voltage Regulator but now it back fires and losses thortle already check tank for dirt or water or any risiduals and found noting but i disconected the gas line from the fuel valve underneat the gas thank and it verely has fuel flow IS THIS NORMAL Can anybody HELP,,,,,,,,,,,Thanks

The gas should flow out fast.

No it is not normal gas should flow fast. Take the valve off and clean it. Sitting around for 6 months could have varnished up especially on the screen. Also remove your fuel bowl and clean out any old gas and varnish that may have accumulated while it sat at the Stealer.

What Boo said, you may also want to spray some carb clean through the jets also. Likely though the screen on the shut off valve needs cleaning.

He said it was at the shop for 6 WEEKS....not MONTHS, ya'll seriously think it would be fuel issues in that short of time, just asking, I am about to go home to a bike that has been sitting for 4 months.

sometimes you can get dirty fuel from the gas station. maybe got a dirty load.

Make sure the gas cap will vent also.:up:
