While I know some may argue the fact that an EFI doesnt need to go to the Dyno, there's a few more reasons than just curiosity that is killing the cat...
After several calls here in the AZ(Phoenix-Valley) I have only been able to find 1 shop that can actually Dyno a K9... Im not knocking any other shops or their ability, the issue is 2 things, 1 a long enough Dyno to house a K9 and 2, the ability to tune with ProTune from S&S.. Out of all the shop, which have come up, been named, none of them can actually do or have the ability to do based on those 2 things except for Average Joe's in Mesa. But this didnt come easy, John at Average Joe's has a great relationship with S&S, has the extended Dyno to fit a K9, and can tune with ProTune software.. Unfortunately, I have the Serial 9-Pin VFI module, and he doesnt have a Serial port on his Dyno, instead he has a USB port, so I had to find a USB to Serial cable with Prolific chipset. Off to Fry's Electronics I went, grabbed 2 cables hoping 1 would work, downloaded and installed the drivers from S&S on my laptop and we were in business. Called John back at Average Joe's and said, we are good to go, so he scheduled time for the Dog..
Ill be dropping off the bike next week to see where we are, how the map is, and what if anything he can do to tweak it or make it better. With that being said, this is what I have, Ill be posting the results when i get them...
