yep,, he was selling the p-pad with them already mounted on it, also had the option of sliding the chrome backrest out of p-pad and moving it to the solo seat or 2 up,,had a bracket that installed under your seat pan, and above the felt,quality chrome also

They look good but I'd be afraid with just 2 little screws and suction cups it would hold up if someone really put some weight on it. I also have a fiberglass fender so the screws wouldn't hold too well. Nice Idea though.

Bill,this guy who build &sells them also has a big dog,, i would think he worked all that out so no fenders got scratched, i ordered the iron cross so ill test it out and leave feedback later, some designs did screw through fender, the design for the dog mounted to the seat, i did see 2 screws but with the contour of the seat it would take a real hefty lady to bend your seat pan and scratch your fender,

I didn't have a vendor spot. It's a whole lot of money to set up there plus a lot of long hours and the crowds are so large that I'd need extra help just to keep an eye on theft. I opted to do the ad instead. Gave me a chance to hang with my friends and go on the group ride. Sorry we missed you! Post a pic of your sissy bar when you get it!

From what I saw it's mounted to the pinion pad not the seat with 2 screws and the pinion pad is held on with suction cups. It also looked like you could put a brace on the pinion pad to screw into the fender which would mean you couldn't take the pad off quick and the screw holes would not hold well in a fiberglass fender.

The other day someone pulled out in front of me and I had to hit the brakes hard. My wife came forward and then back pushing my bar back and bending it a little where it bolted on. If I had that bar on a pinion pad she would have been on the ground.

He had his Dog there last two years with the back rest on. Looks good but didn't look safe

He used the Dog for a prop in front of his booth.

I don't think its meant to be a functioning sissybar, its a decorative ornament for the back of the P-pad and it looks great. I wouldn't confuse it with a sissybar.
Some people don't like sissybars on their bikes but this kind of fills the void if that sounds right.

Although i have not seen them in person, i agree with Ray, purly decrative IMO.

Maybe a small day bag could be straped to it, certainly not your OL.

Yep, I agree too! Suction Cups really don't look too safe either. You could attach it to the front seat easy enough, no holes in fender, and use all the holes in that bracket.
