That is now two very good painters the factory has let go.
My Q is why would the Pound let such talent go and keep the well, umm, others? Or are these very good painters very good, but there are better still yet painting for the puppy farm?
'Cause the way I see it, this guy is awesome!

Just curious.

KnotSo, I too wondered why they let go of the ones who could do the higher level stuff. Sure, with the economy, the higher level might not sell as well but obviously these guys could do basic stuff too.

That is some bad ass paint. I would have to guess anyone that is in the market for a paint job would be crazy to not check with this guy!

You know guys, I have wondered many of these same questions in my many moments of reflection. I was the highest paid artist in the paint shop, so that could be a reason for letting me go. I didn't do as many "numbers" as some of the others. But then, they only gave me the difficult, labor intensive stuff to do, because they knew I could do it. I guess they are content with mid and low-level artists. One guy that is STILL there comes in to work DRUNK every day! I know because I still have friends that work there. But I know something that I shouldn't know: They heard I was looking for another job. Those words came from my superviser's mouth. But who doesn't scope out a Plan B when the company is laying off good people by the dozens? Some how they found out, and that was that.

What ever happened to one of the first principles of leadership, taking care of your people? Your talent is evident and breathtaking, doesn't that caliber of artwork sell bikes? You have been wronged and I hope your talent is appreciated and well compensated elsewhere. Best wishes to you.

Depending what exactly you want, and how crazy you want me to go with it... Most jobs can be completed in about 2 weeks. This is on a perfect, ready base. No body work.
