Two damn Avons and the second never held air well, slow leaked, wore strange and looked like ass after just a couple of thousand miles. New METZLER and it fits, no sanding or anything like that. I'm done with Avon too.

As i stated previously, a month ago i had fitted 2 new Avons.
Robe the 300 miles home, found my rear brake pads were gone so i found a local who had a set of Lydons.................cool.
Went for a ride last Saturday of 200miles and on Sunday i decided to wash the bike.
Tried to push it and struggled, put it back up on the hoist.

This is what i found.
1. Belt off to the outside of the drive pulley and had cut a grove on that side of the belt.
2. Rear brake pad on fixed side was hard up. (simular to myself)
3. Rear wheel alignment is out by 5/16" .WOW.
4. Rear axel under dust cover was five yes 5 full turns undone.

Shit Batman this means i should have checked my alignment before i took delivery of my bike.
A lesson for us all there, when you think an aluminum dust covers 2 x 3/16" screws saved my life!!!!!!!!!!!!
