I will post build date when I get it on Tuesday- I can return it if its old. I know they still make the Avon Venom front tire. I hope the build date is at least 2011 or newer.

Nope not gonna happen, i ordered one with the rear tire and the build date on it is 0109. It is a Venom, It looks fine, no dryrot, but a tire thats 3 years old ?? Not sure bout that !!

Yea I hate to go over three years old myself. Was told anthing past 6 is out of date but three is pushing it for me also. Will post date when it get here.

I didn't think Avon was making the Venom anymore...I'm not sure I'd want to mix the Cobra and a Venom. Two different compounds..

Spoke to customer service at Dennis Kirk and they said they would be happy to take back the tire and replace it with one that has the newest build date. I'm happy with that!
