I saw this thread, and thought I would make reference to the thread on the Energy One and Bandit, http://www.bigdogbiker.com/forums/t...14-energy-one-vs-bandit.html?highlight=bandit ,and the clutches are made by Energy One.
In the instructions for Energy One clutches it says:
"The type of fluids we recommend are any HD petroleum based, non-synthetic, primary oil, as light weight as possible, or even a
good petroleum based motor oil such as 10/40 or 20/50 in weight. You can even use ATF Type F or B&M
Trickshift. THE USE OF SYNTHETICS IS NOT RECOMMENDED AS THEY TEND TO CAUSE SLIPPAGE"

I have used ATF Type F for about 6 months before going to HD Primary fluid. I had no issues when using ATF. I will say that if you have leaks with the primary using AFT will make it worse. I had some leak very little around the bottom of the inspection gasket hole.
