Damn a mighty.. That battery stuff kinda scares me. I have a couple of RC Team Losi mini T's for my boys. They have the brushless Mamba's with Lipo Cells. One evening I was charging one of the Lipo's in the garage and I heard what sounded like a 357mag going off shortly after putting them on the charger. I went out there and saw smoke and the work bench was cleared off from the shock wave. The battery ( size of a credit card, 1/8" thick) went off like a bomb and was mushroomed from the inside out. I could not sleep for a week just thinking of if one of my boys had been handling the car and that had happened. I feel more comfortable handling the nitro RC cars rather than that Lipo stuff. On another note, I went last week and looked at one of those new Tahoe Hybrids. I opened the hood and everyhting is wrapped up with bright orange tape. Salesman said that everything orange has 300 volts on it. Might get killed just changing the oil! The whole back seat is a bench seat.Can't get captains chairs because under the rear seat is a huge battery bank. This is what the kids would be sitting on. Nice! Until there is more R&D on this type of technology, I will keep for the time being what I know about.
