Anyone see this as a decrease in Value??

I recently purchased a 2007 K9. Prior to me purchasing, the bike had been rewired with a new Dakota Digital Speedo, EHC ect. So the current speedo shows 79 miles. I still have the old speedo which shows the original 2299 miles. The purchase on the bike took place through a dealer so of course the title was marked as actual millage unknown or inaccurate.
So my question is do you feel that this would reflect the value of the bike even though I have proper documentation showing true mileage with both speedos and vehicle history report showing actual millage through registration purchases on previous owners?
Thanks Karl

You still have 21 miles to set the mileage on the Dakota Digital. After 100 miles you would have to send it back to them for them to set it, if you have the instructions you can do it, if you don't have the instructions and want the procedure I can give it to you, let me know

Well crap I went for a ride the other day and now it has more than 100 miles. Either way I can't change the title from saying actual mileage unknown

I think if the buyer is serious they will listen and look i to what you say about it but it may turn of people who are just browsing at it

No. Take the offer of the reset of the speedo, explain to whoever you need to justify the mileage vs. the new look, like wow, bike sure does not look like the mileage on the speedo, I'll take it.

Because you just bought it maybe your not totally in love with it yet but you probably will be soon and not want to sell it.

If you for some reason do sell it you have the proof of the old speedo and if someone wants to P&M over that they are just trying to get it cheaper.

unknown or inaccurate is always a RED FLAG for me when i purchase a vehicle in my case i prefer to move to the next one, if register the bike with inaccurate mileage you will regret it, even if you fall in love with the bike but for any reason you need to sell it 75% of your potential buyers will walk away or you wont get the price you want just super low ball offers
