He says he is having issues.. the rod isn't long enough or something like that.. idk.. wonder if it's because his bike is pre 05?

Update: after a couple issues that involved some differences between our bikes, I'm happy to say we both are squared away and riding. Wow, what a difference 2.5" makes. I can finally ride comfortably. I want to send a VERY big thank you to Kel for swapping parts with me and all of your help along the way. You rock brother!! Also, thank you Donna for the incredibly fast shipping of the parts we both needed. This forum is the best!!!

It was my pleasure! I learned a few things about these bikes and thats always great! I'm happy! Rode to work this morning and she feels great after installing the correct size rod!
