Anyone having problems uploading photos?

I tried to upload a POTM several time and received a message to the affect of file to large. I have uploaded in the past with no issues. I have a message in to Tim to see if he can provide insight.

Yeah--I had the same thing. I opened the photo on my I pad and went to 'edit' and cropped it to a smaller photo and that reduced the file size. Saved that image. Being technically challenged, I didn't know my other way......

This new software resizes the uploaded pics automatically.... maybe was not 100% ready yet.

Where are you trying to upload from?

From my desktop on the computer...hit the "Upload a File" and it brings up the locations on my computer and says "Select Files to Upload by Bigdogbiker.com" ... select the picture and it runs through as though it is loading.... after a few seconds it says "The following error occurred" "The uploaded file is too large" and then it lists the name of the file?

Thanks SKOGDOG... opened the photo and used the "snipping tool".... copied and pasted on the post and it worked.
