Anyone have this headlight bucket? Need help !

Ok guys I’m trying to help someone on this bigdog thing on Facebook. I’ve never seen a headlight bucket like this. Anyone have any idea how to get the beauty ring loose? No set screw like the ones that I’ve seen. See the spring in the bottom. Let me know if you can help. Thanks.

That is an Adjure.
Don't let it spook you as there super easy to disassemble and put back together.
All you have to do is take a dental pic or other tool that you can catch then end of the spring with.
In your last pic above showing the spring pick the spring off the right side of the nylon stem.
It will slide back and come off that little stem.
Be careful with the spring. They fall of the other side and get lost really easily.
Once you have the spring pulled off the right side, leave it hooked to the other side, nice and easily push the right stem back into the housing. This will cause the side with the spring to slide out so you can gently grab it with a pair of needle nose or other tool and pull the nylon rod all the way out of the headlight bucket. Keep your hand on the adjure so it doesn't fall out on the ground and ruin your night.
Once the rod is removed the adjure will etc will all come out easily. There will be a rear backing plate and behind that a wavy plate that has to be in place when it goes back together as it pushes on everything and keeps snug to the front of the bucket.

When you have it apart, be sure to clean the grooves and the plastic cable (?) because you'll have to re-thread it into the housing. I found a little WD-40 helped, and it helped to push the headlight into the housing to allow the plastic (looks like fat weed eater line) to thread all the way around the internal grooves. If the bezel is not properly positioned perfectly in the headlight housing, it can be hard to push the plastic cable back through all 360 degrees.

I use silicone spray on my, not sure if wd 40 is good for the rubber orings

If the spring gets lost dont fret. I lost mine early on and you can still grab the nylon to remove it. Love my Adjure.

Thanks guys this was posted for someone else i found on a Facebook bigdog thing. I figured I could get answers on here. He took the info you guys gave and he got his bulb changed. This forum is the beans!
