Anyone have any experience with Hot-Lock from vibra-tite.

Personally I'd drill a small hole somewhere inconspicuous and lock it in with a self tapping screw or small bolt w aerospace style lock nut on it.

How can I do that 5 inches from the end of an exhaust pipe? As it is I have to drill the hole for the baffle (no problem) but trying to add an extra nut or screw seems like a pita in this case. Am I missing some Pitbull Pat?

Self tapping screw going in from tire side of pipe. May have to mark it, prick
Punch spot then drill in sheetmetal screw.

I use that on suppressors to keep them tight, and they get REALLY hot, especially with rapid fire. Works well. I'd say it sort of makes things tighter, but it's not a hard lock like a Red loctite, if that makes sense. Adds friction in an extreme heat environment.

I'm getting ready yo change the baffles in the V&H and last time I used the BCT baffles I lost one so I want to make sure its locked in as well as possible, Standard loctitie apparently gave way inside the pipes so I'm looking at this. Suppose to be good to 2K

Proflyer -- thanks -- that sounds exactly like what I need/want. I really don't want "extra holes" in the exhaust if I can avoid it.
I saw that it was recommened for muzzle breaks etc so I thought heat wasn't an issue.
I think I'll pick up a bottle as the 2nd BCT baffle came in today. Now I can put on the new V&H whenever I get motivated!
