Anybody use this gas cap?

Kuryakyn Flush Mount Gas Cap. No matter what I do it will not fit flush with the tank unless I take off the rubber gasket and you dont want to do that. I even tried the old gasket from the original paint saver.

My aftermarket gas cap does the exact same thing and it drives me crazy!

It should have came with two style gaskets, did you use the correct one?

Yes, the one I am supposed to use is really thick.

got p***ed with similar issues on mine and finally decided to fit one that vents,locks and doesn't leak water into the petrol!

They look nice Frank but I cant tell from your picture if they are flush. Which gasket did you use?

Thanks Ernie. Unfortunately I can't tell you what gasket I used. They have been on there a couple of years and I don't remember. Sorry. I haven't had any issues with them.
