Anybody know what frame this is?

It's a Daytec frame. Does it have a serial number on it.
I have the vin, going to look at it tomorrow.
He wants around 1800 for pretty much a roller. No trans or motor/primary. But said he would work with me on the price. May be taking my pitbull and converting it to a ridgeback. Both are 04's

Paul that looks damn close to a ridgeback frame.

The strut mounts look accurate, tank is the correct shape. I see the exhaust bracket on the back (cut that off if you buy the frame before powder coat, only the stock exhaust mounts to it unless you buy some long pipes)

The transmission mount is correct 4 bolts.

My only question and it could be the pic is the I don't see the mounting tabs for the battery side covers on the rear. But it could be the pic because I see the front top and bottom mounts but there should be a top mount for the rear as well.

I also find it surprising there is no neck cups, those neck cups appear to be mounted in the frame.

But the VIN will tell all, have him give you the vin

I have the v&h 2/2 exhaust that has a bracket that bolts into the stock mount. The mounting tabs for the tray covers are exactly the same as on the pitt, I think they changed them on 05 and up. I have the vin! Is there a website where you can check vins?
Going to check it out today and offer 1500.00 for the kit. He has about 1800 into with parts but wants to get rid of it. I think most of my pitbull parts will work

See what comes up here. Looks like a lot of the old pictures have the photobucjet problem. I have a copy of the 2004 and earlier VIN decoder at home in my manual if the below link doesn't help.

Just bought the ridgeback picking it up in August. 1500 for everything. Looking forward to converting the pitbull into a ridgeback. Once I am done I will be selling the pitbull leftovers

Checked the pitbull frame tonight, I think I am in business. I think even the pitbull struts will fit.
The karata is going to look good on the bigger frame.
Really leaning towards keeping it black and chrome or may do a candy apple red theme.

not sure what happened to my last post ??? But everything is looking good for the build including the pitbull struts. The karata is going to look good on the longer frame!
Thinking about keeping it solid black or a candy apple red ??? This is going to be fun.. and really looking forward to riding a big dog again !!!

Yep! Those pitbull struts should fit.

Did he have the rear fender? Derrick and Donna may have a rear fender for you I hope that fender was only used on the ridgeback so might be hard to find.

I wonder if your oil tank will fit too that be awesome

Yes it includes the front and rear , oil tank is included too but they are the same. Its almost the whole bike not including any of the drive train. The guy I am buying from put allot of money into it and realized how hard it was to find parts, He even met with Curtis. He figured it would take another $9k to finish it. I just so happen to have an 04 pitbull that has become my project bike and has those parts he needed

Yep! Way cheaper to buy the bike whole. Those 2004 ridgebacks I see go for 7-8k all day and why I'll never sell mine. Being a hardtail, LSD and they also made well over 500 of them they come up for sale often.

Cool deal man good luck with the build that's awesome.
