Anybody else running the American Suspension Dragon with a front fender? I'm having an issue with mine, and want to see if it is only on bike.

Thanks Five Five, this is what I PM'd to Rub

I'm actually having an issue with the caliper, or maybe even the rotor. When I turn the bars to the left at slow speeds like pulling into a gas station it makes a low pitch howling noise. Sounds like when a dump truck is coming to a stop if you have ever heard that sound. I had my mechanic look at it, and he thinks maybe the rotor might be warped a little. There doesn't seem to be any real way to adjust the caliper.

Also you know those buttons that are all the way around the rotor allowing the rotor to move? There are a few of them that have rub marks on them. Not sure if that is a cause of this or not.

Just wondering if you had any issues like this, and again it only seems to happen turned to the left. One thing I noticed, and supposedly it is normal is the fender moves when you turn left or right, have you noticed this as well?

Rub responded with the fact that he had the noise issue, and switched over to ceramic pads, so I will try that as well and see if that fixes it.

My buddy had a Big Bear Athena Springer and had a fender on it and it rubbed all the time when he turned.

He took it off.

That's a nice bike. My tire does rub the fender but only when I maneuver the bike like when parking and turn it to the stops. Doesn't rub under normal operation. Also I know it isn't the tire rubbing that is causing the noise.

I kept the fender because of the flames painted on it. the entire artwork flows from the front of the bike to the back, without it, the artwork would not be balanced.

Thanks Rub, I'm running the caliper that came from American Suspension. The only thing is that it isn't the original one that came with the front end, had issues with that one leaking brake fluid, so they sent one that is the latest updated version. The new one doesn't look like the original. But if you can find the number, let me know. Thanks.
