Any Body Else/Any Ideas

Dont Tread On Me
Hey guys and gals. I have a 07 K9. I have it in storage for the winter in my basement. I did not have it on the trickle charger when I noticed the right turn signal reminder light on the speedo was on and the speedo needle stuck straight up. I turned on the key and nothing changed. I took off the seat and all of the lights on top of the computer were on and would not turn off unless I unhooked the battery. Once again nothing changed with the key on or off. I pulled the battery and it checked out good and fully charged. I hooked the battery back up and same thing. Any ideas. Thanks in advance. I would like to fix it myslef as it is middle of the winter here and the BD dealership is 100 miles away.

Welcome to the site. We'll have to get together for a ride some time. Knotso and I usually ride over to the Post Falls dealer during there summer party.

As for your bike how about some more info. When you noticed the turn signal on was this with the key out and all?
When you pulled the battery how did you determine it was still good? How old is it? It needs 12.8 volts to start.
When you put it back in and hooked up the cables did all the lights come back on on the EHC without turning on the key?

PM me your email and I will send you something that may help.

Later,
Ray

Hi the key was in, when I pulled the battery I slow charged it and put it back in, same thing, so I took it to the local auto parts store they checked it and said it was fully charged and putting out 12+volts. So I put it back in the bike the same thing happened. When I turn on the key nothing changed the same lights are on. I have looked for a short and checked the grounds. Bad computer? Thanks, for the info guys.

We've had this issue on here many times by many members and usually the battery. 12.6 won't work and the auto shop may have told you it was good when it isn't. And a battery is cheaper than other parts!
Anyway, I sent you some info by email so check that out and see if it helps.
