Anucator/tach ring

Anyone know anything about these?

The tach LED's and hi/lo indicator was not working when I got bike.:angry:

I replaced the tach ring/PC board and it worked for about a year, then the same thing happen.:bang:

Is this a known common issue?

Anyone know who made these?

Are they repairable?

How do they work?

I think autometer made them along with the speedo. curtis my bad, thanks for staightening this out!!!

I think that Curtis at WSW knows how to check them and has replacements.

it may be a rare problem, but not a common problem. never had a problem out of my '07.

That would surprise me if Autometer made them. They plaster their name all over everything. The tach ring only says Bigdog on it.

Surprised no one has any info on theses.

Curtis? What do you know? I'm curious if nothing else.

Annunciator rings were not made by AutoMeter.
BD had a couple of different manufacturers over the years.
Some are repairable others are not.
We do have a test machine and we can fix some issues but not all. Some of the issues are due to a bad chip which is proprietary and not openly available.
