well was riding my bike today,and noticed when i went to start it ,it was real hard to start,so i did an inspection to later find the oem starter actully blew apart,i mean it is cut in 2,never seen this happen before in all the bikes ive owned,i can see this happening if the starter was loose,but the 2 bolts that bolt it up to the primary are tight. does anybody know if i have to use the eom bdm starter again? i do have a open karata open belt, was wondering if i could use a reg spye starter. attention all 05-06 owners this is the same starter that everybody has been having problems with:job,i brought it to the dealer months ago cause i knew there was something wrong and bdm denied to fix it
