Another new poll?

I don't know how to create a poll but I was thinking about how many members kept their license plate horizontal on their bike or flipped it vertically? One other question would be they flipped their plate vertically even though they knew it was illegal in the state where they have their bike registered in. Just curious because I decided to flip mine because of the posts here and the day before the mod I found out it is illegal in Pa. Being German and hardheaded I flipped it anyways. I'll just plead old age when the 5/O pulls me over.

Mine was flipped vertical when I got. The law changed shortly after so I flipped it horizontal. Then months later the law was re written that the plate had to be readable not specifying vertical or horizontal. So needless no say I flipped it back vertical. :loony:

Don't have a big dog yet but, I fliped my tag on my ride.
I live in pa and mounted my tag verticaly to my left soft saddle bag. It does have lighted bolts so it can be seen at night.
I have never had a problem with inspection or pulled over.
Yes it is illegall In Pa but I don't care.

Mike is horizonal because on the 09 it is a one piece bracket . Cant be flipped unless i change the whole bracket .

I agree. I flipped it because I didn't care but with the louder than normal pipes it will be another reason to be pulled over, besides racing between the street lights we have at every f'n corner.

I flipped mine vertical too. It was the first mod I did to the bike. I like the look way better, it doesn't stick out as far, so I'm not catching it on anything when I'm manuvering the bike into a tight spot. Don't know if it's illegal in Oregon & don't care.

I flipped mine. The law changed after I did it, so it's illegal now. So far no problems.

First mod I did when I got the bike. After hitting my shins a few times, I decided to do the plate flip mod. Do a search and you will find a detail write up on how to flip a plate. Good luck.

It is legal here in Florida, but I don't see what the big deal is about mounting the plate vertical. I just left mine stock.
