When my EHC started to go bad I would lose my headlight (low beam) at times. So I wired it directly to the tag light. Now it seems that the low beam is on all the time now. When I switch to high beam the low beam stays on also. Not sure if this is normal? I don't want to burn up the wiring by having both running. It is a stock bulb...it is a 04 Chopper. Its not the one I just purchased from Keith. I'm thinking of selling my 04 and want to make sure I tell the seller that this is normal or it needs to be changed. I know some people have wired there headlight directly to the tag light. Thats where I got the idea also. Anyone have an answer? Not sure what I should do. Thanks.
