Another Gremlin appears!!!!!!!

:angry: I was riding last Saturday and everything was fine, until I went to re-start my 06 Mastiff. I hit the run button and then the start button-nothing, hit it over and over nothing. All of the lights etc. came on but the starter button did nothing. Finally it started and ran fine, got to the next location and it started back up fine, but I shut it off to do something and when I went to start it I had to keep on hitting the start button, It would engage for a split second then nothing it did this 4 plus times then started. Rode to another location and shut it down and it started fine for the rest of the day. I hate these Gemlins, Love the bike. Any ideas???????????

Sounds like a short or loose connection...
Have you looked at the lights on the EHC ?

I know the 05's had a bulletin about upgrading the switches in the bars my bike was manufactutered in June of 05. Don't know what hte problem was but the upgrade was covered by BD. Don't know if this went into any 06 models but may be worth the check under recalls/bulletins.:up:

right side switch control board. a known issue. there is an upgraded board. costs around 20 bucks.

Exactly...

Pull the seat and when you push run... you should see the ignition light come on.

Could also check the connections at the control and under the gas tank.
