Another Cracked Frame

Dennis from what I understand BDM took over the frames in 08 but I could be wrong? I do believe mine was built in 07 seeing as they usually start the next year model the prior year. I could be wrong there too!

any update on the frame repair??

My 05 RT frame broke back in 08. BDM replaced it with their own BDM frame.
Mine broke on the top cross member in front of the rear fender.

Yes the welder called me last night. Frame has been repaired, will be taking the scoot to the painter for touch-up then slap her back together and will be back on the road soon. Will post pics of the repair, once I pick it up tomorrow. :2thumbs:

Got the scoot back from the welder, he did an excellent job!:2thumbs: I'll be taking the scoot to my painter for completion either this weekend or early next week.

Sorry was $300 took him 4 hours to complete. He put a solid piece inside and welded a cover up. The pics dont do it justice, I'm very happy with his job. Just hope the painter doesn't take too long. We've hit the rainy season here and everone is bringing their tins and things in for painting...

Man this sucks. I own a 07 Mastiff and will go out and check it. The damn CA roads are all messed up and they have pot holes all over the place. I've hit some hard. Never thought about the frame though until now. Shit. They did a nice job on your bike and I love the color. I hope mine is OK. Stay safe.........

Yep, he's damn good! It's what he does for a living, nothing but frames. He has the sweetest set-up for a shop, I was impressed! :2thumbs:

Well, the Mastiff is back from paint and I couldn't be more happier. I've met a new friend along the way on this journey (Welder). My painter I've dealt with in the past and he's always done an awesome job for me. He matched the electrical covers on my ridgeback that I bought from bigdogpartsking that were black and painted them agent orange, the color of my Ridgeback. So, below are a couple of pics of the finished product. What crack? I never had a cracked frame! :roll::roll::roll:
