Alright, I've searched for this and haven't found my answer yet.

I know i have the compression releases... but since the cold weather, the bike will start strong sometimes and sometimes it will barely turn it (draining the battery down). I just replaced the battery so i'm thinking that the releases may be working half the time.

Is there a continuity test you can do or something or any other suggestions?

And yes.. I live by the battery tender.

to make it simple until you get a chance to check them out, just push them down manually with your finger.

BTW, i used to live out the buford hwy a couple miles out of town back in the 70's and early 80's. that's where we lived when narow37 was born. worked as a floor guard at the skating rink, if it is still there.

Hey, I used to live out in Goose Creek!!!!

Check your battery. Just cause you have it on a tender doesn't mean it's good. How old is it. You have an 07 that could be two years old now.

Have your battery checked and in the mean time as Wood stated just push them in manually like I do everyday!!!!

woodbutcher,
That's too funny. I worked as a floor guard at the "Roller Disco" in Chattanooga during the late 70's and early 80's. Didn't really get paid anything (free admission and concessions). Loved that whistle! I was the youngest one, but I could skate my ass off...

Simple check: Put your finger on each release and confirm whether or not it's depressing when you hit the go button...
