R.I.P and wish his family my condolences. I live about a mile away from where this happened. Was riding this past Sunday and some Jackass was going about 70 on that same road. The speed limit is 45mph. I was about to change lanes, looked over my shoulder and this speeding jackass blasted right past me. If didnt check over my shoulder before changin lanes, I would have been a hood ornament.

REMEMBER: Look out for yourself, no one else is!

Rest in peace brother. I will say a prayer for your family.
I wish there was something BDB could do with our numbers

I went to that article that Knotso posted and here is a comment on there:

Friend of Tom's

Barr family, I’m so sorry for your loss. It was a horrible and tragic accident. But I knew the driver personally…and he was far from heartless. He was a friendly gentle guy who also had a huge heart for animals. He was also a scared kid who panicked and made a stupid decision. You have no idea what his reaction was when he found out Bennie had been injured. He was so torn up with guilt that he turned himself in. Please consider that before making jokes or threats about taking justice into your own hands.

I guess that means they have the driver now?! Anyway...no matter how scared or panicked that person was, it is still a coward to run away and not try to help or call for help...that's just not an excuse to me.
