Sorry meant to say never seen it on an 05+ . I actually thought they wouldn't fit due to the primary cover being shallow.

But I agree not sure why your 04 put has it and my 04 was solid.

My -03 doesn't have one either

Compensator? Yes like when you ride very slow the bike doesn't start "jumping" and you don't have to slip the clutch. I bet it is good for tranny too. In twin cams they are a bit problematic, the new compensator model wears out too fast, specially with automatic primary tensioner (that is from hell! Chain is way too tight all the time)
Anyways when they wear you can hear rather noisy "clonk" from primary when taking off off letting off throttle.

Ok, so i think I will just stick with the old slip the clutch thing, works fine for me and just seems like one less thing to go wrong.
