My sister and I went thru some extremely trying times within a year of each other. I remember my dad getting weepy and saying how much he admired my strength and I said that God just gives you the strength that you need at the time to get thru. I see that strength in you. While I know any one of us would be there by the side of our loved one...it’s very hard to see them hurting and struggling...to not be able to help them, to take their place, to be strong for them. I continue to pray for that continued strength and peace for you. Andrew is blessed to have you by his side. You are as strong as he is. I know that he must be very proud of you. Again, don’t hesitate if there is anything that you need...even a shoulder to cry on.

I think we are all ready for that big party in Andrew’s honor when he is healthy again! Always in our prayers, Andrew!

Thank you Biker Babe.
Short story: one week before Andy's accident, my mom fell on their driveway in Fort Worth and had a concussion, broke her nose and arm. Then Andy had his accident in Dallas. Three days later my Dad fell and broke his hip. I had my dad in the hospital in Fort Worth, my mom at home unable to care for herself and Andy critical in Dallas. I am the only daughter in Texas so I had to be there for all of them and try to start back to work. People ask how I am holding up. I tell them I don't have time to find out! Lol

Oh my gosh, when it rains, it pours! Bless your heart!

Earlier this year, I was visiting 3 people in the hospital at the same time...at least we had 'em coralled in one location!

Hope mom and dad are doing better. I'll add them to the prayers.

PS...I jokingly have given myself the title of She-ra, because of the strength that I gain from going thru crap...I'm passing the title to you...much earned!

Thoughts and Prayers, my Dear...for you, Andrew, and your parents.

Andy has been improving the last few days. His sedation has been reduced and they see movement in his left arm and leg. Not on command but they see him move them. And his fever is gone. I think I can smile a little now!
