I didnt know BDM assembled there own engines for there bikes.........I thought they were all built by S&S to BDM specs.......then shipped out to BDM....learn something new every day......
If you call S&S with your serial # they will tell you if the parts were sent to BDM or they built it and shipped it assembled.

BDM built them up till the end of 2007 I believe. 2008 and up model bikes had 100% S&S built motors from what I remember. This one being a late 2006 (2007 model year) it was for sure built by BDM.
Oh boy, BDM bulding S&S, that´s a new one for me, then my 2005 Ridgeback i completely BDM :job:

I have found tons of nuts & bolts loose on my K9 and NONE of them had signs of having Loctite! Last ones were the left front pegs! which I could not find the right tool to tight them up... so, shit loads of red locktite, tighten with pointy plies as much as I could and then re-assembled the extension plates on top. :bang:

Ok Guys,
here are some more pictures of Andrew and myself. I showed him the big LED screen I've been putting up and worked with for the last 2 weeks. We also went on a biker meeting and rode together with about 200 bikes through Gothenburg.
Enjoy.

Back in NY...

Had a great time in Sweden. Managed to help Dragan with his Big dogs and one of his friends with his American I-H. Got to meet some very nice people. Saw some cool things. Ate some good food. Rode on some nice roads...Looking forward to it again :2thumbs:
I gotta say, I'm a little disappointed I didn't meet my blonde hair, blue eyed Swedish bride though :D
More pictures to come...

Hi Everyone,
just wanna say that I'm so happy that I got to know Andrew and that he came over to Sweden to help me out with my bikes, We had a good time here for 14 days and I hope we can do it again.
I also wanna say that he's a fantastic mechanic when it comes to Big Dogs. He's unbelievable!
This guy knows everything when it comes to the Dogs.
We should be very happy that we have him on the forum with all the input he is giving us.
Thank you Andrew for really doing your best. :up:up::
