An open letter

To all forum members (no need to respond or post comments).

In my recent controversial "heartburn" thread I never meant it as a personal attack nor did I EVER mean for it to cause members to feel that they had to "choose sides". The post took on a life of its own causing emotions to kick in, loyalties to surface, and things to be said that some of us (me included) would like to take back.

To the forum I apologize (I definitely never wanted to create enemies or divide the forum). And to Chris I apologize (especially if I caused him grief over his post).

I will continue to support this site (and the outstanding mods)
with any contributions I can. This will be just as all the other great members do with their Dogs, stories, jokes, how-to's, rides, rallys, alley pics, tech articles, etc.

And above all, I will continue to support Big Dog Motorcycles (in spite of all their problems) BECAUSE I LIKE EM'! and because I think that is what this site is about. And I promise to not rag on Harleys (I love my harleys too). Now riceburners, that's another story.

Anyway, Peace Brothers. Ride Safe and Often. And I hope to meet and ride with many of you!

Iv seen this happen on many forums. Sooner or later no matter what you do or say someone will be offended by it.:angry: It’s just the nature of the beast.:bang:

Freedom of speech is what it's all about. We all have said thing we regret or someone took it the wrong way. Reading posts can really be takin the wrong way cause you can't hear or see the person or the chuckle as they write the post. No apologies needed. I think most people on here are great stand-up guys who have the motorcycle thing in common that most people who don't ride don't understand and never will. Long live BDM and this site.
