Am I asking too much????

I have my bike listed on both Craigslist and ebay and not getting a lot of hits. My asking price on CL is 17,000 and that is my reserve on ebay. Is that too much? Here is the link if anyone wants to look and let me know.

My buddie just bought an 04 ridgeback with custom pipes, 4" open primary belt, 1800.00 custom seat (includes the p-pad and sissy bar) 250 rear tire. Paint looks almost like yours. 14000.00!!!

The economy sucks and ppl are shying away from the "fair" pricing as we see it. Sold prices are way down from where they were a year ago. There are several around here asking for over 16K that have not sold in over 6 months.

Having said that, and I am still paying on my Mastiff, if I could find a nice 04 or 05 RB (or a nice chopper, both with verifiable maintenance) for less than 13k, I may buy it.

The economy is going to get worse, and I think ppl are waiting for others to lose their jobs and forced to sell at rock bottom pricing.

My question is you just bought this bike earlier this year, why are you selling it so quickly? Do you need a Group Ride?

Just my thoughts..

and yes, it does suck...........
