Looking to purchase a K9 soon. If the Harley sells on e-bay. As you know production is limited, and unless you spec a bike. You chose from what's in stock. The bike I like is carburated. Anyone riding in higher altitudes (i.e. Colorado) with a carb? If, so! have you incountered any problems? Thanks, Dale

When I lived in Monument, Co I had an EFI Wide Glide with no issues at altitude. Personally I wouldn't see any issues if you were just going up in the mountains for the day but an extended ride or stay in the mountains you may see a difference. What about the Harley? Carb or EFI?

I'm sure Proflyer will drop in and may have some input he's in Loveland...

Dale,

I live up north of ya in Loveland and the bike runs great. I lived in Tulsa (sea level) and had it tuned there, moved here, had it re-tuned and it's run great since. I did a trip last year down 285 to durango, up over wolf creek etc. and it ran great the whole time. I'd get a carb bike, I honestly don't trust big dog's electronics enough to have the EFI just yet.

PM me when ya get one and we'll hook up for a ride.
