guys,
April 1st and it was 70 degrees in NH.... All weekend was in the 70s. Looks like riding season is back. THANK GOD!! Got on the Dog Thursday and couldn't stop smiling. May it be a long riding season this year, and not rain during Laconia for a change..

Hey, I'm in NH too!
I road Saturday up by Alton Bay and it was awesome. We stopped and ate at Patrick's Pub. The place was packed with Harleys!
1 long line up of bikes in the parking lot and I pull in and find a spot right next to a blue version of my bike an 06 Mastiff !!! It had NH paltes but when I came back out the guy was already gone.
I'm sure it'll still rain for Laconia tho... it ALWAYS does!

Hey MadMarx,
Nice to hear there are others from the site in NH. Saw a nice orange Ridgeback in Rye on Sunday. Once in a while I pass a guy with a Lime Green K-9...

If your at the Weirs during bike week, stop by the band stage and say hi.... I'm one of the guitar players from the Royal Pains. We are playing two shows that week on the weirs, and we are at Meredith Harley Dealer on the final day. I'm hoping there is no rain for once. I hate playing in the rain..... Water and electricity just don't mix...

So, you didn't need pontoons on the bikes? Hopefully the floods have receded. Talking about Laconia, I worked Laconia for over 20 years and it used to be a given that Laconia weekend would be hot, hot, hot. In '94 it made it over 100 degrees. We used to pray for a hard rain at night just to cool things off. About 10 years ago, the opposite started happening. Suddenly it was always cool, rainy and miserable. Hopefully the weather will cooperate in the future.

I saw someone with the shirt last year "I survived Rainconia 2009" and looked all over, but couldn't find it.

Lets hope for no rain, this will be my first year camping up there! Just booked our site at Pine Hollow across from the Spoke. Anyone else staying there?
