you might want to check if your transmission vent hose has come off , or is too short to reach the ground before dripping on the inner primary.

dunno about the "jumping out of gear" if it only does it from 3 to 4 , and not from 4th to third..it may be a bent shifting fork .
if it does it both ways then it probably is the shift dog ,and or gear

Don`t take it to the shop. Get a manual , pull the transmission(not that difficult) and send it to Andrew Barnes. He will hook you up , and you won`t have to worry about that for a long time.

How close are you to Endwell NY. That is where Andrew is located. He knows his stuff on these bikes. Highly recommended. Good luck.

Hey guys, thanks for the positive comments
Yes, jumping in and out of gear in a problem with the transmission, most likely being bearings. Not shift fork/s. Especially the fact you are leaking oil on the ground. The vent house should NOT have oil coming out as long as the correct amount of fluid is installed ( 20oz ) However, if the seal and bearing on primary side have failed, you will have oil transfer between primary and transmission. So yes, this can cause overfill of transmission and or primary.
Give me a call today if you're interested in dropping it off. (607) 727-8545
Trust me, it's well worth the drive
