I've learned more on this site than i ever thought. Thanks to everyone that makes these post. Like seeing the new things guys are doin and try to show some things I do for others to see also. Been having an all day garage day. Enjoying one of the few days I get off. Finally got the plate vertical after reading all about it. Installed oil pressure gauge kit that I found on ebay. Not liquid filled and no rubber to melt off which I learned from you guys. Put crankcase breather on. I had bought a Maltese cross gas cap from j&p cycles but of course didn't fit. Decided to take it apart and noticed it was almost exact size of points cover so after a little drill press work hooked it right up. As always a long day in the garage is better than ANY day at work! RIDE HARD))))))

The gas cap covers work great man, perfect fit. I got the idea for mine from Trainguy.

Yep gas caps work great since I couldn't find anything I wanted mymofo. As with everything else on these bikes if u want something different u gotta do it yourself but to me that's the fun of it
