Yeah man I sold mine because I was not happy with its performance, but also because I never really leave my bike unattended anywhere that theft would really be a risk. Most of the bars or events where I ride are not a threat and I usually end up home at night. So i got rid of it. Hell spend your hard earned money on some more chrome or stock up on some ammunition. :flag:

One great thing about this forum, you can DAMN sure get an opinion or two. :cheers:

Does anyone else's insurance give them a discount for having an alarm? I know mine does. Drops it by $100.

I bought a Gorilla alarm and it works well. It has a remote that will warn you if you are within it's range. Also has a tilt and shock sensor that you can set the sensitvity on. The thing I liked about it is the tilt sensor can be attached to the underside of your seat. If the seat is moved it sets off the alarm... it also prevents someone cutting the wires to the alarm or battery.

I got the same insurance deduction by having a wheel lock device, the alarm didn't count as an additional theft deterant, they only discount you once so you can spend $29 for the wheel lock and still get the same insurance deduction as having a $400 alarm system....just saying.

I've got the tool roll monkey. When a would be thief tries messing with my bike, the small tool roll monkey jumps out, runs up the thief's arm and starts fucking him in the ear. This way, the thief can't hear me coming, he can only hear the tool roll monkey cumming!
