I am attending a holiday party the middle of January out onthe east coast for our LE motor club. So, last night I broke out the airbrush and decided to paint a black zip up hooded sweatshirt to give away as a door prize.

Here is a couple of pics showing the process. Everything was done "on the fly" freehand. I cut stencils for the letters so the outline would be crisp.

Here is the front of the sweatshirt. It has the club name 'Road Dawgs' and the patch we use.

Then I started on the back. I was using fabric paint and decided to keep it a black and white to minimize how much time it would take. Here is the initial outline, sketching it in with the white paint.

Then, I decided it would look good to add a cigar to the pic.

Here is the image, about 3/4 complete.

I added the final lettering on the bottom and then decided just to add a little selective coloring.

Here is a closeup of the eye and nose area.

I have a couple of leather cowboy hats laying around that the missus picked up awhile ago. I might try something with those tonight.

Ed, thanks, and it's because of how good you are that inspires me to push my limits and try doing things outside of my comfort zone.
