air suspension???

Hi everyone!

I've been so busy since I picked up the Bulldog that I forgot about some of the extra parts that came with it. One is an air suspension compressor.

Not sure if it even works, but it made me wonder if I had an air shock already on the bike. What does this look like??? Thanks!

guessing that silver one is your air shock if its optioned on your bike,, it should have a threaded hole in the back of it for an air fitting that would connect to your compressor.....

I took a couple more pics, I don't see an air fitting. Is this just a standard damper?

I looked into air suspension a couple of months ago. Eddie Trotta gave me the best advise. If its a show bike go air! If it's a rider go Progressive Manuel shock. If you differ be prepared for a bad experience on the side of the road one day!

He may of done away with it because they leak and you cant seem to stop it. mine are going soon !

Looking at the shocks. You either run both air or both Manuel. Looks like 2 different brands of manuels

Looking at the pictures I would say that you dont have the air shock .... let me know if you plan on selling the compressor unit

The more I study these pictures. The more I question, who in the hell would mount 2 different brand shocks working 2 different ways? One collapses from the front and the other from the back! Look closely and you will see it.

Never a problem with mine. Works great. Fully adjustable on the fly. No complaints here.

BDM's came with one air shock and one "standard" shock with a bump stop. It's in case of your air ride failing, the fender will not drop so far as to hit the tire

hello -- i am curious how that is fastened under the seat ? -- it slides up next to the battery box with nice fit but what locks it in place from moving around ? mine just seemed to be wedged up in there
