Air ride switch after ehc replacement

Has anyone that has replaced their stock ehc out with an ELEKTRONIC one and has air ride figured out a way? Mine is on a 2008 K9 and I hooked up a valve for the last 3 years and fill it up before i ride which is all fine around locally but huge inconvenience on a road trip.

An easy solution is to take and re-wire the compressor and relief to a SPDT switch with center off.
One position would activate the compressor.
Center would be off
Second position would activate the relief solenoid.


Disconnect both connectors shown
Connect solenoid ground wire.

------------ Compressor
+12v ----FUSE ----- SWITCH
------------ Solenoid

I'd have to dig a little deeper to tell you what A for the fuse but I'd likely start with a 5A unless someone knows more specifically.

An as mentioned, do contact Axel as I think this was something added later on to his modules.

SPDT should be mometary on as well. ie have to hold it to keep compressor running.

Exactly, I have mine mounted on the bottom of my side cover. Switch is like pic below. Airing up is momentary.
