Hey Guys, weather is finally worth a shit in Wisconsin so I dusted of my 2010 Bulldog and decided its time for some upgrades. Can you give me some suggestions on exhaust. also while at the Harley 110th my interest was peaked by some customs with air ride so I would really appreciate some direction as far where to find and if it is a bad decision .

thanks

Do some searching. Plenty of posts here about pipes. I have factory air ride. It's been a great set up, but having my first issue now. Haven't investigated yet, but the sick is not holding air....or not getting air. Could be simple as worn line our loose fitting. Anyway, point is its been great for 7 years. I'll get it fixed up and will be great again.

A word of advise:

You will need to do some searching here and researching any engine mods that impact the EFI mapping variations if your bike is EFI which I assume it is. The EFI module is factory locked and can only auto adjust itself a small amount so be careful on too much engine upgrade changes. You can purchase an unlocked version of the S&S ECM unit but you need to know some info and be computer savy for the install.

Here is my $.02 worth. I looked hard at air ride shocks for my 03 chopper when I figured out my factory shocks were bad. I talked to guys here, I talked to friends of mine, but what made the deal breaker was when I called Thunder Cycles and Talked to Eddie Trotta. I have met him a few times at different rallies. His suggestion was this. For a show bike the air ride is great. For a bike you are going to ride and put miles on and really enjoy, go with the Progressive shock. The bike was set up with them and if you have air and want to convert it was simple. But day in day out pounding on the road you just can not go wrong with the progressive Manuel shock. So that's what I did and have been Very pleased!
